From Rural Roots to Downtown Revival

“I started with land using proceeds from oil and gas deals to invest in rural properties and strip centers. Eventually, I found myself in downtown Dallas. A family I worked with offered me a property in Fort Worth, then said, ‘We also have a block in downtown Dallas.’ That’s what brought me here.

Now, I do projects across Texas and back home in Minnesota. But the downtown Dallas restorations? Those are special. I’ve spent nearly 20 years breathing new life into historic buildings, and while new construction has its place, it just isn’t as romantic as saving something with a story.”
